Semaphore Workers Club | Located on the Esplanade at Semaphore with a wonderful seafront view – the Semaphore Workers Club has been part of the local Community since the early 1900’s.

The Club has transitioned since that time from being the headquarters of the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron to being the bastion of progressive politics on the Peninsula and actively supports community and trade union campaigns to improve conditions – not just in the workplace but more broadly in community in which we live.

The Club has a proud history of having some of the best musicians and bands in Australia and overseas play on its stage. With the current Covid guidelines, the Semaphore Workers Club is open Friday nights with some of the best bands in Adelaide playing on the Red Stage. Doors open from 7.30pm till midnight and tickets can be pre-purchased from Trybooking.com

Normally the Club also opens on Sunday afternoons from 4 till 8 pm for more of the fantastic music Adelaide has to offer. Sunday openings have currently been on hold but we hope to return to normal trading hours in the near future.

Fidels
The Semaphore Workers Club is one of two venues run by the Port Adelaide United Workers Club. Fidel’s (also known as the Royal Park Doghouse Club) is located at 66 Wattle Ave, Royal Park and is a smaller venue providing a great stage for bands & entertainment on a monthly basis.
